Well, summer is officially over.......It's back to school time for the kids!!!
For the past week, we have been back to school shopping for Alex.... This Tuesday will be his first day of HIGH SCHOOL!!! I can't believe how fast time flies. I was sitting here earlier thinking about his first day of kindergarten....how young and innocent he was, how eager he was to learn, meet other kids, and run around and play so carefree....how excited he was to go to school, but at the same time how nervous he was leaving me for the first time....and how nervous and scared I was to leave him.... Wow...time sure flies....The other day, Dennis and I took Alex to register him at his new high school. It was amazing watching Alex.... He has grown and matured so much over the summer and has really developed into a nice young man. When he met the Principal for the first time, Alex stuck out his hand, shook her hand with a firm grip and introduced himself...he seemed so confident and so sure of himself.... It was at that moment that I knew he was ready to tackle something much bigger than public school and it made me feel incredible inside that my little boy has developed into such an amazing young man.
