The June 21 event will be held in conjunction with the OPA Provincial Championships and we’ve all worked hard to make this an event to remember. -- Finally, the June 21 show will feature TWO divisions: the Open division where any woman 18 years of age or older can enter, and the first ever SAF Elite division, an “invitational” competition only open to SAF Elite-qualified competitors. More on that below….

ABOUT THE “OPEN” DIVISION

-- Any woman 18 years of age or older from anywhere in the world can enter.

-- There will be two categories: Figure Model and Fitness Model (explained on the http://www.safmodelsearch.com/ site).

-- Winners from each category receive $500/each, and the top 3 all receive great prizes, trophies and, last but not least, they become part of the SAF Elite.

-- Every competitor will be featured in the Galleries section of our http://www.safmodelsearch.com/ site, and all top-3 winners will be featured in the SeriousAboutFitness.com network, our video productions, and more. Once more, we’ll also be filming a behind-the-scenes look at the SAF Model Search, and all competitors are invited to take part.

-- The SAF Model Search also leads to other great opportunities. Many of our SAF Elite have been featured in magazines like “Oxygen” and “Inside Fitness,” and most go on to do extremely well in other types of physique competition. Furthermore, once you’re part of our SAF Elite team, there are plenty of other opportunities to be involved: videos, photoshoots, appearances, more.

ABOUT THE “ELITE” DIVISION

-- The SAF Elite division is ONLY open to SAF Elite-qualified competitors. Since 2007, the way to become part of our SAF Elite is to place in the top 3 at an SAF Model Search event. -- The first-place winner of the SAF Elite category wins $1000!!!

-- Furthermore, SAF Elite competitors DON’T PAY ANY ENTRY FEES. Instead, they’re ALL paid to compete – for example, all SAF Elite competitors at the June 21 event will be paid an appearance fee that can offset any travel or competition expenses. To the best of our knowledge, NO other competition in Canada offers that! This is just one more reason why you want to become part of the SAF Elite.

When we originally created the SAF Model Search competition, our goal was to create an event that was positive, inspirational, and motivational for women.
