SAF MODEL SEARCH....COMING SOON!!!!

To Fall 2008 SAF Model Search Entrants, Friends and Sponsors:

I wanted to give you a quick update on the Fall 2008 SAF Model Search competition that's held on Nov. 1 in conjunction with the 2008 Ottawa & Eastern Ontario Championships.

Once again, this Search will be hosted by fitness star Mindi O'Brien, Canada's best pro fitness competitor. We'll also have some very special ladies there to help out onstage including Natalie Waples, the 2008 SAF Elite Champion and an newly crowned IFBB Figure Pro. Cindy Van Empel-Popowich, our outstanding stage expeditor from the Summer 2008 show, will be assisting all competitors to ensure that even first-time competitors feel comfortable getting onstage. Full judging panel to be announced soon.

We are current updating our prize package and have some very good news for competitors.

-- Winners will receive cash prizes -- $500 for each first-place winner, and $250 for the best competitor over 35 years of age. These cash prizes are courtesy of www.SeriousAboutFitness.com.

-- The top-3 in each category will become SAF Elite qualified, making them eligible to compete in the 2009 SAF Elite Championships.

-- EVERY competitor at the contest will receive a special gift package courtesy of Interactive Nutrition -- www.InteractiveNutrition.com. We're also pleased to announce that Interactive Nutrition will use the SAF Model Search as a scouting location for new athletes to sponsor. According to information we received today: "Interactive Nutrition is looking at sponsoring one or two competitors from this event" and these competitors "will also receive a professional photoshoot with Doug Schneider." THE SAF MODEL SEARCH IS THE PLACE TO BE DISCOVERED!

-- Inside Fitnes will feature coverage from the event and pictures of the winners. This month's cover of Inside Fitness features 2008 SAF Elite Champion Natalie Waples! Terry Frendo, publisher of Inside Fitness, promises to be there on the judging panel once again.

The Fall 2008 SAF Model Search promises to be another great event. In just two years, the SAF Model Search has become Canada's premier women's physique event and is open to any women 18 years of age or older. No previous competitive experience is required.
