HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!
I can't believe it's almost Christmas!! I love this holiday....I love spending time with my family and friends and I enjoy a bit of down time before the January rush kicks in!
Last week, I took my son to Cancun for a mini-vacation....It's our first "BIG" trip together and we had a blast. Alex will be heading off to University next year and he's eager to move on with his future....I thought this would be a great experience for the two of us to go away and create some new and fun memories...mother and son!! Alex and I spent five days in Mexico and we definitely had some good laughs, and it was a great way for the two of us to reconnect. I am usually dieting for a show, so our time to travel is usually limited....Due to my injury, this allowed us from free time....We arrived home last night and I would have to say, this was the best trip that I have ever had....

We are once again expanding our facility!!! We are very excited as the renovations have now begun....We are building a High Performance Training Centre...strictly for hard core athletes...Dennis has already ordered all of the equipment, designed the training centre and can't wait to start training our athletes...(he's like a kid in the candy store) We are bringing in a team of professionals that include, massage therapy, medical acupuncture, osteopathy, Injury rehabilitation and chiropractic care...Adam Bogar is the man running this show...he is absolutely amazing and I am now under his care for all of my injuries and rehab. Riley Beauchamp of Beau-champ Fitness is now one of our partners and we are excited to have him on board. Riley will be training many one on one clients, running some incredible group conditioning classes and running a supplement store...We have also brought some outstanding and reputable trainers on board and we are excited to work with all of them...One big family!!!...If you're interested in learning more, please feel free to contact teamobrien@cogeco.ca for further info.
I have received numerous emails asking me if I will be competing at the Arnolds this year?? Due to my injury at the Fitness Olympia, I did not request for an invite. I was hoping that I would be better or "well" enough to apply for an invite, however, things just haven't panned out the way I thought. I am back to training, but am still having a lot of pain and discomfort....Although I will not be competing, I am hoping to have the opportunity to appear in one of the booths and I also have some athletes competing in the bikini division...
Anways, I will keep you posted on all of the exciting things that are happening....I wish all of you a very safe and happy holiday season....
