WEEKEND UPDATE

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend. My weekend didn't turn out the way I thought it would. It just seemed to be a continuation from Wednesday!!! Saturday morning I woke up to a huge flood in our apartment. This is the third flood since we moved in, but this one topped them all. The "new" air conditioning system seemed to have a mishap!! It ended up draining into our apartment....it started in my upstairs washrooms ceiling(right in front of my son's bedroom) soaked thru the hallway walls, and proceeded to make it's way right thru the ceiling and ended up downstairs in our office. The ceiling in the office totally caved in and streams of water kept pouring in....what a mess. On top of that, the weather here is finally nice and warm, so our apartment smells like dirty old socks...from the dirty flood water and I'm guessing mold. It's so disgusting and I am soooooooooooooooooooooooo mad. The landlord came up and really didnt' show too much concern. He said there's not much he could do, left and said someone from headoffice would be up to see us at the beginning of the week. Dennis went down to the office and insisted someone come up and at least suck up some of the water.....the super tried to clean it up, but of course the shop-vac didn't work properly and so he left leaving us with a small swimming pool in our hallway!!! NICE!!! So Saturday was a total write off. I was supposed to attend the Toronto Pro show and then go to my Grandfathers 75th Birthday party...but because of the flood and all the drama, I didn't end up going to either one of them. What a day!!
Today seemed to be a better day. I had to work this morning at the gym. We worked on some routines with some of the athletes and then had a posing and stage presentation clinic. The girls are really starting to look polished and more confident....great job!!!
I have booked a photo shoot with John Stutz tomorrow afternoon, so I had to make a last minute hair appointment for today. One of my clients, Caitlin, ended up giving up her only day off to do my hair.....what a sweetheart!!!! Thanks Caitlin!!! She did an amazing job!
I am excited to shoot with John....he does some amazing work.

I want to congratulate all the Canadian Athletes who competed this weekend at the Toronto Pro show. Way to go!!!!

Well, I guess that's it......I am going to eat, watch some tv and then hit the hay!!
