HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Halloween!!!

I just love halloween!!! I think it's such a fun occasion. I used to get so excited to dress Alex up for Halloween, taking him out trick or treating, going on a family outing to the pumpkin patches and going on the haunted hayrides....I thought for sure since Alex is now a teenager, that he wouldn't want to go out trick or treating....Up until this evening I was right.....until I brought home some goodies!!! All of a sudden Alex disappeared for awhile and I found him up in his room throwing together a Halloween costume and taking his pillow out of it's case....he is now all ready to go gather up some loot!!! I thought it was hilarious and to tell you the truth, I'm happy that he still wanted to go celebrate.....

Things are going well here....I am back to an off season training program. Dennis and I have been analysing all of my pictures/videos from this years competitions and have put together our new off season training program to help improve on some of my weaknesses.....I love to train heavy again...I think the best part of the sport of fitness/bodybuilding, is that there is never a day when you will say, "Ok...I'm done!"
There is always room for improvement...that's what keeps it fun and exciting...train hard in your off season, work hard at improving your imbalances and imperfections and see what you're left with the following competition season...that keeps me motivated big time!!

Dennis and I went to a wedding on the weekend. My girlfriend Serena, and her fiance(now husband) Nick finally tied the knot....She was one of the most beautiful brides that I have ever seen. It was weird seeing Serena dressed like a princess....much like myself, Serena lives in track pants and lives in a gym!!!
We had an amazing time at the reception....it was like a gymnastics/family reunion. All of my old team-mates and coaches were at her wedding....I haven't seen a lot of them for almost 10 years, so it was really nice to catch up on where everyone was in their lives. I hope to stay in touch with a lot of them now that I am back living in town!!!!

Well, it's getting late.....I have to get up early for an early morning training session and then off to some important business meetings.....Dennis and I have some exciting news in the works....once all the t's are crossed and the i's are dotted, I can share our news with all of you!!!!

Once again, I hope you all have a safe and Happy Halloween!!!

Love Mindi O
