Hi everyone!!
I'm sorry it's taken me soooooooooooooooooooo long to update my journal entry. It has been extremely hectic around here lately and it's been so stressful.
I injured my lower back about two weeks ago and I haven't been able to work on my routine or train as hard as I need to. I am six weeks out from the Europa Super show and I feel a little stressed out. My physique is a little behind schedule right now...not much, but not where I was hoping it would be.......I will be ready though!!
I have been receiving treatment on my back every couple of days hoping that the muscle spasms would subside, but so far they haven't let up, and I have been having some severe pain shooting into my quads. It's so frustrating!!! To top it off, I took a prescribed muscle relaxant on Sunday evening to help with the pain, and I ended up having an allergic reaction to it. I woke up covered in hives from head to toe AND I still have them. My entire body is covered and my joints are swollen as well. I look so hidious and feel disgusting.
Our moving situation was pretty hectic as well. We went to go put our first and last payment down the other day and it turns out that the landlord made a mistake and that the previous tenants will not be moving out until August 31st. We were supposed to move in on August 15th!!! That means that since the current tenants aren't moving out until the end of August, the apartment still needs to be renovated and we wouldn't be able to move in until September 10th!! Boy, was I mad!! Dennis and I ended up spending every evening looking for a "new" place to live. We finally found a beautiful place the other day that we both really liked. We received a phone call today letting us know that we were approved and that the apartment is ours!! Thank goodness! I was totally stressing out over where we were going to live! I'm not sure when we can move in, but I'm hoping it's before September 1st!! I'll keep you posted!
Well, I'm trying to stay positive and hoping things will improve........they can't get any worse!! My back is still really sore, but I will be back to the gym tomorrow to start working out again and start working on my routines. Wish me luck!!
I want to thank everyone for their constant support and for sending such motivating emails my way. I do read them.........I'm a little slow responding to them, but I do try to get back to all of you. Thanks again for your support and I will keep you updated on how things are going!!

Wow. Anyone would be stressed out under those conditions. Most of us wouldn't continue working out under them though haha. Awesome. Hope you feel better soon.
